Cafe night was hosted on March 27,2018. Many students of the audience said the show was “Amazing and more than expected”. One of the teachers who put Cafe Night together Mrs. Liastro says, “The show went smoothly everyone did well. Everyone was super enthusiastic about performing, this was definitely a good experience to have since it opens them up to an audience”.

Overall, the performers felt accomplished with their performances. Some of the performers use Cafe night to not only boost their confidence, but to express how they feel, performer Rayna Jagasia said, “Even if we messed up at the end of the day we know that we tried. It’s been a tradition for me to do Cafe night every year, when I was little I would always watch demi lovato and famous celebrities that would perform in huge crowds and I always wanted to be like them, singing helps me express how I feel, this experience helped boost my confidence up a lot”.

Alex Valentine says “my performance was mediocre, in my opinion, but everyone else did amazing; they all sounded really good.” The audience cheered for each performer as they left the stage, every performer did amazing and they had great talent with a lot of potential for the future.

One of the audience members Saja Brown said the event was “Lit, they were really good”. Jozalyn Zape (a performer) said “ I think I did pretty good overall, I’m mostly proud of myself because i made my own song and performed it in front of a huge audience”.

Jozalyn Zape played her own written song with her ukelele. Kevin Caffrey sang a song by Smashmouth, he said “ I just wanted to Cafe night to get my name out there and boost my confidence, and to express how I feel by singing honestly”

Overall, the performers did really well. They definitely showed their talent and potential all thanks to the performers, stage crew, Mrs.Liastro, Ms.Masperi, and the audience for attending this event.
