A 7th grader named Gianna De Pinto recently won Warrior of the Week at WMS.
De Pinto explained how she won the award, “I was being kind and did my best.”
She then went on to explain that if someone wanted to win Warrior of the Week what advice would she give them. She said, “You need to try your hardest and be good.”
Mr Mondesir, a science teacher at WMS and teacher of De Pinto, explained why he felt she deserved the award. He said, “A lot of her work goes unnoticed because she is so consistent, so she definitely deserves it. Gianna is [also] always on task and she’s very kind and helpful.”
