Girls basketball season is here, and we’re here to give you some important info on the girls team this year. 

The first basketball game is November 30th, and the last game of the normal season on December 22nd. Playoffs will be the first week of January, and hopefully the girls make it to championships on that Friday. 

Bobbi Jo Timinski, and 8th grader on the WMS girls basketball team, said, “I think we’re gonna be better than last year. I think we have some better players, and I think we’ll win a couple more games this year then we did last year.” She has been playing basketball her whole life and is so excited for the upcoming season.

8th grader Gracien Milevoi said that without her friend, Bobbi Jo, she wouldn’t have tried out. She said, “I think were going to play hard and be confident.”

Mrs. Kaschak said she really enjoys coaching, “I’ve been doing it for a really long time, and I like to see the difference in each year. It’s always an adventure. You never know what your gonna get.”
