S2 robot programs its ways back to Mr. Blackmore’s class: Mr. Blackmore’s class class programs S2 robots for the fifth year

Zain Shiraz, Fall Editor

Coded robots are all around us, our cars, televisions, consoles, and even our coffee machine.
In Mr. Blackmore’s science class, students coded S2 robots.
Mr. Blackmore explained “I knew technology would be in all aspects of our lives.” Mr. Blackmore went on to that students don’t just learn about coding, “they learn about themselves.” Mr. Blackmore knew about coding robots for ten years and taught coding for five years.
Mr. Harris explained why programing is important to a student. He said “I think programming affects the students life because this generation is for programming.” He also said, “you should learn how to program because in the future there would be many job opportunity for programmers.”
Jason Merchan and Isabella Rosano said they “liked” programming and it was a “good experience”. All in all, programming is good experience because it’s fun and it helps people learn more about themselves.
