The students at WMS wear a lot of trending brands, why and how do they catch the students eye and become “trendy”?
The brands most worn by students at WMS based on the interviews, are Nike, Jordan, and Essentials. Nike and Essential hoodies are worn by students because they are comfortable and stylish, they also have nice colors.
Nike and Jordan shoes are worn by students because there are a lot of great options. These brands have been in style for a long time. BellaSofia states “I’ve been wearing the shoes since I was little.”
These brands are not only trendy in WMS but also anywhere in the world! There are many people that would agree with the students’ opinions as to why they were these brands.
Social media is one main source of advertising that students hear about brands. When interviewed Kai states “I hear about brands from social media like Instagram and Tiktok.”
