FIFA is a sport that people are very competitive and pro players play and this is a sport that needs a lot of speed and leg strength. This sport also needs focus and a high level of concentration. People should try out soccer and make it pro in soccer, instead of playing games all day. Playing soccer can get your speed up, your stamina up, and it can boost your cardiovascular health. It can also increase your bone density and it reduces body fat. It can sharpen your senses, it can reduce stress and make you figure out what team work is and why it’s important.
Then strength, focus, skills, speed, and stamina are essential for soccer success. These skills are essential, speed is for running to get the ball or running to slide tackle which is very necessary in that type of sport. Focus on the ball and your surroundings and the people is good because you would need to maintain ball handles and your surroundings to get past them. Stamina is needed because the game lasts for 90 minutes and you would need to have good stamina to stay active on the pitch and score goals. Strength is a very important thing in soccer for stealing the ball, sliding, tackling people, bumping into people to take the ball so you don’t get pushed to the ground by them. Skills, having skills in soccer is VERY necessary because dribbling past defenders to get a goal.
In soccer, there is a backfield with positions like GK (goalkeeper) which is where he/she saves the ball from going inside the net. The CB ( Center back ) he/she stays near the middle back of the field and defends their team and they try to take the ball from the opponent. The FB (Full Back) Left backs and Right backs who guard the wide flanks and near the goal of their defense. The WB (Wing Back) is an attack minded defender who plays high up the sidelines in formations with three center backs.
The DM, CM, AM, and WM are all midfield positions ( Defensive midfielder, Central midfielder, Attacking midfielder, Wide midfielder.), and Defensive midfielders must be good tacklers, and they should have exceptional ball awareness while supporting their other defenders, while being good communicators. They should also be aware of their surroundings just in case the ball comes to them.
A central midfielder is a soccer player who operates primarily in the middle of the pitch, acting as the crucial link between their team’s defense and attack. Attacking midfielder is an advanced midfield soccer player positioned primarily between the central midfield and the forward line. They also defend the ball from getting in their own goal because they are in the mid back part of the field. Wide midfielder is a player positioned on the left or right flank of the midfield line, responsible for balancing both attacking and defensive duties along the touchline. A winger is an attacking forward position located on the outer flanks of the pitch, operating high up the field and the outer flanks of the pitch, operating high up the field near the opponent’s touchline. Center forward is a central attacking player positioned closest to the opponent’s goal. Second striker is a highly creative and mobile forward who operates directly in the space between the central midfield and the main center-forward or striker to score goals.
For all of the soccer players out there, you have to keep your eye on the ball at all times and make sure you have good moves to dribble through them. Make sure to maintain focus. There are also beginner drills. The drills are very important because they help you in the game and increase your soccer gameplay.
Number 1 cone weave:
Set up 5 to 6 cones in a straight line spaced 2 to 3 feet apart. Weave through them keeping the ball close, using only the inside of your feet, then switch to only the outside.
Number 2 Toe Taps & Bell Taps:
These are very important because they can sharpen your senses about your taps and moves. This is how you do it : Tap the top of the stationary ball rapidly with the soles of alternating feet. For bell taps, quickly pass the ball back and forth between the insides of your feet.
Number 3 Kicking and catching:
This is very good because you need good dribbles and if you are practicing for goalie then try to catch the ball at different speeds or train. Juggling is basically you have to, kick it up with your feet and keep on kicking it and get it to 5 then 10 then more, and more each time to increase your skill.
Number 4 Wall pass repeats:
Stand a few yards from a brick or concrete wall. Pass the ball against the wall and focus on controlling the rebound with a smooth first touch before passing it back.
Number 5 Two touch short circuits:
If you have a partner, stand a few yards apart and pass back and forth. Control the ball with one foot and quickly return the pass with the other foot using the inside of your foot but if you do not have a partner then kick it against a wall.
Number 6 Wall Striking:
Face a wall from a further distance to practice power and accuracy. Focus on placing your non-kicking foot next to the ball, keeping your chest leaned over it, and striking the middle of the ball cleanly can also increase your kicking, your accuracy and your speed and strength.
Follow these steps and tricks. Keep training everyday until you meet your goal and never stop improving. There are many positions to choose from, I recommend playing as a defender or a right winger. I recommend this because it can improve your game skills, your focus and your strength, it can also help with your stamina.
