Mr.Petrucelli shows how imagination works with acting.

Mr. Petrucelli is the new theater teacher at Woodbridge Middle School. He’s been in several movies and television shows, now bringing his passion for acting into his classroom, inspiring a new generation of future adults.

At Woodbridge Middle School, he is known for his entertaining way of teaching and bringing his characters to life. Not only does he share his knowledge, but he also allows the students to partake in activities that resemble the real deal of auditioning.

By combining his careers of teaching and acting, he educates his students about most aspects of becoming an actor. Not only does he also inspire students to do better in theater but also in life.

His students and peers say that he is a big inspiration, “He likes us being active, and he lets us do stuff. It’s enjoyable,” said a fellow 8th-grade student of his, Seiry Collazo.

“He’s always giving more energy to be the best version of yourself,” said Tyler Danyschuk, another student of Mr. Petrucelli.

He is an amazing teacher who gives kids in Woodbridge Middle School a lot of inspiration and shows us we can improve no matter the falls we take in life.

As an actor, one must take rejection when auditioning for a role. Mr. Petrucelli has shown most kids at Woodbridge Middle School how he took those falls. But, not only that, he also showed how he got back up from those falls and continued with his awe-inspiring career.

Mr.Petrucelli was asked how he reacted when he got turned down for a role. He said, “I’ve had turn-downs before and my first few I took very personally,” but he also said, “You have to learn not to take the turn-downs personally.”

Now Mr.Petrucelli has moved on to work at Avenel Middle School. We will all miss him at WMS. He is an impactful teacher and still holds a very special place in our hearts. We all hope for him to come and visit, or, maybe even be at eighth-grade graduation for the class of 2024.
