Zarah Cajacuri has won a great honor as Miss Peruvian Princess outside of school. Before we get into how she won, we have to know what the honor means!

Cajacuri stated, “When you win this title you get to represent Peru.” But what got her started into doing pageants and competing to win this title? Her mom has brought her closer to her culture and has taught her to be proud of where you are from.

When Cajacuri found out she said, “I thought I wasn’t going to win, but when I found out I was super proud. But every sport has struggles, what struggles do pageants have? “You have to be super kind with everyone because if not there could be downfalls to it,”  Cajacuri responded when asked about the struggles.

Some students and teachers said some nice things about Zarah Cajacuri and talk about their biggest achievements

Dorcas Amusa, an 8th grader at WMS, said some nice words about Cajacuri, “Zarah is very open and she is a very smart/kind person. She likes to respect people in any way.” One of Amusa’s biggest achievements is winning her free throw competition.

Mrs.Dinella, a teacher at WMS, also said some nice words about Cajacuri, “She is hardworking and intelligent.” One of Mrs. Dinella’s biggest achievements is that she won Community Volunteer of the Year in 2010.

Zarah Cajacuri has won a very special award and when you see her in the halls make sure you say congratulations!
