(The Warrior Messenger) MIA TORRES – ZAPATA, HOST: How do you spell your first and last name?
ISRAH SUKHERA (7th-grader in WMS): I-S-R-A-H S-U-K-H-E-R-A
MTZ: What age did you start playing the flute?
IS: I started playing in 4th grade which was basically when I was 8 or 9 years old.
MTZ: How do you plan on continuing to expand on your instrumental abilities?
IS: Well I hope to be joining the marching band in high school and continuing on from that maybe like continuing to music for the rest of my life
MTZ: `Why do you like playing the flute?
IS: Well I mean its a good instrument to play, it opens a new brain cell so yea and its creative
MTZ: Who introduced you to the flute?
IS: I started in 4th grade and you get the ability to chose whether or not you want to play an instrument and I chose to play the flute
MTZ: If you were to pick another instrument to play, what instrument would it be?
IS: The trumpet or the precussion
MTZ: Where do you like to play your instrument?
IS: So I like practing it at home or playing it in the band room
MTZ: Is there anything else you would like to add?
IS: No
