Battle for the ages!

Battle for the ages!

Nike versus adidas always comes up when talking about clothing, both brands are great, but let’s see what WMS thinks.

When asking eight grade student Tanaya Thompson  what brands she would like, she chose Nike for shoes, and other 8th graders Jack Brenner and Andrew Jones had also said the same thing.

The way that this went was ultimately towards Nike, but towards the pants section there were different opinions. I ultimately prefer Adidas pants, but jeans were the most popular. At first, that wasn’t an option until more people stated they liked jeans.

For accessories Forever Twenty One was chosen as well as a plain black headband.

Nike was altogether voted for in the accessories category, but many like Adidas as well. In 2017 Nike had better sales by selling a whopping 15.2 billion dollars. In 2017, Adidas sold 5.3 billion dollars. In 2017 Nike almost tripled adidas sales in 2017.

I would have Nike shoes because they look and feel better to me. Adidas ultra boosts are also very good alternatives. For pants, I would choose Adidas because they also feel and look better. For shirts nike is also better because of the branches of design and collaborations with other brands. Finally for accessories, I would choose Nike again because their waist bags, fanny packs, and backpacks are also extremely cool.

Nike has associations with many sports players and influencers such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and many more. While adidas has players such as James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, Lionel Messi, and many more. All of these prolific athletes have many skills and also a deal with their brand to make shoes.

There are many color ways and many sneakers out of these athletes, not even including cleats. That adds a hefty sum where there would be over fifty shoes out of all those athletes combined.

Two huge brand will always battle, but almost no-one knows who will prevail.Nike and Adidas are great and so are other brands, but Woodbridge Middle, in the end, enjoys Nike over Adidas.
