People need chapstick because it helps with chapped lips and keeps lips smooth and hydrated instead of making them dry and cracked. However, there’s many different chopsticks to choose from and they all do different things.

One popular chapstick is Carmex. It became the most popular when the vsco trend happened over the summer because it was considered the chapstick all the vsco girls/boys would use.

Although Carmex may be very popula, it has its downsides. When first starting using Carmex, it works very well but after a few months it made my lips even more chapped. On the bright side, it makes your lips softer and does keep them a little glossy if you use the tube chapstick. Overall, I’d rate Carmex a five out of ten because it works very well, but it could ruin you lips.

Carmax’s biggest competitor is the good old Burt’s Bees chapstick. Burt’s Bees is a little waxy, but it still works very well. Burt’s Bees has nine different flavors of chapstick to choose from along with other lip products. Their products help hydrate your lips too. Overall, I’d give Burt’s Bees a six out of ten because it does get a little waxy and dry, but it does the job.

Aquaphor is one of my favorite chopsticks because it is hydrating and makes my lips very moisturized. Aquaphor also has other products that can help with dry skin too. If your lips are very dry then I’d definitely recommend Aquaphor because it helps them right away. Overall, I’d give Aquaphor an eight out of ten because it is so hydrating and helps my lips instantly.

EOS is an original chapstick that I’ve always used since I was very little. It comes in many different flavors of chapstick that you can’t even count! It’s also hydrating and I would describe it as buttery. EOS helps your lips become extremely smooth and only needs to be reapplied occasionally. Best of all, after the chapstick comes off, it still leaves your lips smooth and not needing anymore chapstick. I’d rate this chapstick a ten out of ten and I would definitely recommend it.

I’d recommend EOS and Aquaphor the most out of all these chapsticks if your lips are very dry or if you’re just looking for a new chapstick to use!
