In the world of sneakers there are many passionate people. Many people will pay hundreds, sometimes thousands, for a pair of sneakers. A recent exchange was for about 100-110 pairs of sneakers for $33,000! Another insane fact is that IT WAS ALL CASH! There was $33,000 taken and many shoes exchanged.

All brands are very popular, but when asking WMS students what brand is in their heads, three out of five students said “Nike” while 2 said “Jordan” brand. Justin Boisvert, James Fudge, and Isabella Vargas said Nike, while Valeria Genoa and Ariana Morales Salas stated “I think of Jordans.”

Sneaker-head definition

When asking  Morales Salas she stated “yeah I’m a sneaker-head, I like shoes”. In some other cases Caitlin O’Brien said, “I’m not a sneaker-head, I just don’t like collecting shoes”.

Sneaker-head definition: someone who likes and buy shoes; someone who collects shoes

Reseller definition: Someone who buys shoes or clothing at a “retail” price, than selling shoes for more than they were

StockX is a sneaker, street wear, collectibles, watches,  and handbag selling market.

Their website and app are very easy to use.

They have a vast selection of over fifteen thousand shoes and other things so selection is also very good.

StockX updates every day on each new shoe and all the facts about the sneakers.

Goat evaluation

Goat is also a sneaker reseller device that sells sneakers and streetwear.

Goat isn’t the easiest to use as everything is jumbled up.

Easy to use: 7/10

There selection isn’t great because it’s only sneakers and streetwear.

Selection: 8/10

Goat updates everyday to get the newest sneakers.

Updates: 10/10

Footlocker and champs Raffle system

Footlocker and champs also has some things than Goat and StockX only do occasionally like raffles almost 1-3 times every week. You must put where you can go  buy them, what size and quantity.
