On May 30th the girls volleyball team ended a successful season by winning championships against Fords Middle School. They have fought hard all season and it paid off. As the underdog in this game they were ready to win and compete with the undefeated Fords team.

The WMS team has progressed all season getting better and better each practice with the help of Head Coach Ms. Traschetti and Assistant Coach Mr. Murphy. The championship game was held at woodbridge high school on  May 30th.

Ms. Traschetti claims she was “siked” for the last few games, including the championship. The girls on the team said that their performances were overall “good” and they felt that they we prepared for the rest of the season. Indeed they were.

The girls volleyball team are celebrating their victory on Wednesday June 19 by going to Colonia Dairy Maid Ice Cream.
