EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS OF THE MONTH: Shannon Muldowney and Charles Crook receive the first eighth grade student of the month award of the year

During WMS’ first pep rally of the year, the students of the month were announced, Shannon Muldowney and Charles Crook were “shocked” that they were awarded. She says that she felt shocked because “there are a lot of other kids to choose from.”

Likewise, Charles Crook says that he felt shocked as well, but had “a lot of good energy”.  Crook also says that “it felt good” to be student of month. Although, Muldowney says that “it didn’t make her feel any different.”

Muldowney describes why she thinks she won student of the month and if she will keep up the good behavior, “ Yes, I will continue helping the school and students in the hall.” She follows up with, “It made me realize that there are a lot of good things you can do in and outside of school.”

Crook explains that he would do the same thing as last year, and work more seriously. He also says that he thinks the meaning of being student of the month is “positive attention.”

Congratulations to the September students of the month. Keep up the good work!
