BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: WMS stands strong like Wonder Woman to bring awareness to breast cancer

Maggie Mcnee, Fall Editor

On October 19th, Woodbridge Middle School will be holding a Breast Cancer Bake Sale at WMS to support breast cancer awareness. In continuation, the school will have a Breast Cancer Walk.

The bake sale will be at lunch and all pinked out! The sale will be during lunch and each item will be one dollar. There will be pink treats for a great cause.

After the bake sale, on the 20th of October, the school will have a walk against breast cancer around the school. On average, about ½ to ¾ of the kids participate. Ms. Burke, student council advisor, says that the walk is 5 dollars per person, and she wants a “learning experience” for the students.

Adding to all the fun, there will be a Breast Cancer Walk outside of school, at Johnson park in Piscataway. It is not a WMS event but there will be WMS staff and students there. Join WMS in the strides against breast cancer, starting Thursday, October 19th! Remember, Wear pink!
