Elliot-Cardet-Merrill won a Warrior of the Week at WMS in February.
Cardet-Merrell said he thinks he got the Warrior of the Week because he was doing well in school and being respectful to teachers. He said he would rather win another warrior of the week than a warrior buck because “it shows how good of a student I am.”
He also said that his mom inspired him to be such a great student.
Daniel Crowley, another 7th-grade student at WMS, said Cardet-Merrell is a great friend. He said, “He is kind to his friends and teachers and does his work.” He also said Cardet-Marrill deserved a warrior of the week because he is always helping people.
Mr. Malmstrom, Cardet-Merrill’s 7th grade journalism teacher, said Cardet-Merrill was such a great student because he always had really good questions and made eye contact whenever he spoke.
He said Cardet Marrill had a “great attitude, great work ethic, and was really respectful.” He also said he nominates students because they show “good citizenship.”
