Did you hear about the kidnapping at school? It’s okay he woke up. Well, most students are awake to see the new improvements to the school!

The eighth, seventh, and sixth graders were away at Avenel Middle, Colonia Middle, and Woodbridge High while construction was going on at Woodbridge Middle. Three students were interviewed about the school, sixth graders Anthony Tepedino, Riley Vazquez, and Jake Nagy.

Sixth grader, Anthony Tepedino explained how it has been to adapt to the middle school, “It’s ok, but it was a little hard at first.” His favorite part of the new school is the lockers. Tepedino thinks the most difficult part of moving from class to class is how the halls are crowed. A club Tepedino would like to add is an art club, which would be a little bit different from the mural club.

If Tepedino was an eighth grader and was told to be a role model for the school, he said, “That would make me feel nervous because I feel like I’m a teacher who has to set an example to the students.”

Sixth grader Riley Vazquez said adapting to the school is “very different”, she likes Woodbridge Middle School better, but it’s sometimes “confusing” because she doesn’t know where she’s going.

Vazquez’s favorite part of the new school is the gym because she “likes” gym. Vazquez thinks it;s difficult to move from class to class because the hallways are always crowded. Vazquez would add a softball club to the school because she likes softball.

If Riley was an eighth grader and was told to be a role model for the school, she said, “I would be happy and try to be as kind as possible.”

Sixth grader Jake Nagy said he likes Woodbridge Middle compared to Avenel, but Nagy got to see a lot of his friends when they were at AMS. Nagy’s favorite part about the new school is the gym, Nagy thinks it’s the best part.

Nagy said the most difficult part from going class to class is “lugging around his big instrument.” Nagy would add a hockey club and would like to have sixth graders on the baseball team.

If Nagy was an eighth grader and was told to be a role model for he school, he said, “it would make me feel pretty good tp have people look up to me.”

We are all glad to welcome a new generation of Warriors to our school and wish them the best of luck.
