Facts about what is happening to marine life:

-Over 1 million of marine animals are killed each year due to plastic in the ocean

-Lots of plastic is found in turtles’ noses and stomachs from plastic being in the ocean (it’s not just turtles, too. There are multiple marine animals that this happens to)

-If turtles die, sea grasses would die off and so would marine life and eventually human life as well

Things you can do to help out: 

-Use reusable water bottles and shopping bags

-Participate in costal clean-ups

-Don’t use many packaged goods
