Retro Inspired Bullet Journal Spread

Bullet Journal Spread

Nisha Hodgins, Fall Editor

Bullet journaling is helpful for an organized life. In simple terms it’s a planner. However unlike a planner, a bullet journal isn’t written in. It doesn’t have a layout, because it’s intended purpose is for people to create their own layouts. This allows people to be more creative and personalize their bullet journals to their needs. This specific spread is a weekly spread. The boxes are to-do lists where people can write their daily tasks. This spread has five days, but people can put however many days they want. For me, I find that anywhere from five to seven boxes on a spread gives me enough space to write what I need. Typically for each month there is a new theme. For this month, I created this color palette that I used throughout all the spreads. It gave me a retro vibe, that I really wanted to incorporate into my bullet journaling. Often it is difficult to think of new themes, so I thought I could share it to give some inspiration.
