Oh you don’t have a hydro flask? sksksksk

Vsco girls are taking over the world. While everyone has different views about when it started, about ten people say that it started in the summer.
You may be asking, what is a vsco girl?
First of all no one knows exactly for sure when it started, Lindholm said, “Someone might have searched it up, saw that turtles were endangered, saw the problem with plastic, saw pictures of vsco girls, and put them together.” Telemaque thinks that it started on the vsco app. Others think that it started on social media.
The vsco app is basically a filter app where people can take or upload pictures and then edit them.
One thing vsco girls are known for is carrying around hydro flasks. Hydro flasks are insulated water containers that vary in size. Lindholm and Telemaque agree that it’s not useful. Lindholm said,”It’s just a water bottle, everyone has it.” Telemaque said, “Just get a regular water bottle or a metal one.” Although Batista had different opinions saying,”Yes, it holds a lot of water, but at the same time you can just bring two water bottles.”
Another thing that vsco girls do is wear scrunchies. All three like scrunchies. Lindholm thought they were “stylish” and Telemaque and Batista agreed that they like having things on their wrist.
Vsco girls are also big on “saving the turtles” and no plastic. I think we all agree that this is a positive aspect of vsco girls. While Lindholm believes that we should save endangered animal life she also said,“I don’t know what they do, they’re not cows, they don’t give milk or anything.”
Some people think that owning a scrunchie or hydro flask makes a vsco girl a vsco girl. But, people like Telemaque and Batista said they believe that anyone can have it and that they were made before vsco girls. One person even said, “It’s stereotyping, and unless someone prefers to be called that, it’s not cool.”
Five out of eight people think that this is a positive stereotype, mostly because it helps save marine life. Although everyone has different opinions about this trend, it was fun while it lasted. I wonder what trend is next?

Great article sksksksk! Saving turtles and reducing plastic use is definitely positive. But the stereotyping is very annoying, an i oop–!
