Middle school can be very stressful sometimes because of work and drama. Students here at WMS love to help each other during stressful times. Our wonderful guidance counselors have some ways to relieve stress and I thought of some ways too.

  1. When you are having a rough day at school, it’s best you go home and talk to your parents or siblings about it. Especially if you have an older sibling that has been through middle school and knows how to handle the drama. They could give you some advice and hopefully they can help.
  2. If you are dealing with bullying, you should stick up for yourself and make sure you are confident.
  3. If you are having trouble with schoolwork or drama, take a deep breath and tell yourself that you can do anything and everything will be okay.
  4. Talk to a school counselor about it. At every school there is a counselor that could help you with your problems. Go to your counselors and tell them what you’re dealing with. They will definitely help you.
  5. Do something you love. I personally love sports so when I am stressed I get a basketball and dribble outside. It gets my mind off of everything. You should definitely try it too!

These methods can help you through the middle school years. Just remember that everything will be okay and you will get through it if you can be confident in yourself.
