Nicolas Kim Coppola, professionally known as Nicolas Cage was born today. He is an American actor, director and producer.
His career started when he starred in movies such as, Fast Times at Ridgemont(1982), Rumble Fish(1983), and Valley Girl(1983). His stage name, Cage, was adopted because he wanted to assure himself that any success he had was based on his own excellence.
