Deevany Ruiz, Fall Editor

How does one plant new seeds?

In the garden when the vines entangle with every inch of the sorrow sodden soil,

How does one grow in an area with,

No space to flourish,

No space to grow,

How does a flower bud find peace amongst chaos?

When there is no room for her petals to open,

Only room to fall,

and one

by

one

the petals fell,

Dancing on the wind of what could’ve been.
