Actress Lindsay Lohan and “Mean Girl” star turned herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, a 24-hour prison, at 10:30am for drunk driving.

Although, this is not her first incarceration but is her shortest sentence. She was released at 11:54am due to overcrowding in lockup and the fact that the crime was nonviolent, serving a total of 84 minutes in prison.

Lohan was fingerprinted, and placed in a holding cell. Officer Steve Whitmore said “She was very cooperative.”

Soon after she was sentenced to 10 days of community service and three years of probation.

Lohan states “It has been clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.”
