If you’re anything like me, you’re always trying to be the best. In school, at your sport, and overall. No one knows your TRUE potential except you. So when you make a mistake, or mess something up that you know you could’ve avoided, it upsets you. Like that test you received a 89% on that you know you could’ve aced, upsets you because you know how well you could’ve done. People tell you you’re too hard on yourself, but it’s only because you know your capabilities. Truth is, maybe we do push ourselves a little too hard. Everyone messes up, we can’t be so hard on ourselves for being human. Effort is more important than results. Remember that.
