ORIGAMI WREATHS: On of art clubs latest project

Nancy Riggio, Fall Author

Art club is an interactive activity that allows students to express themselves through the the art they create.

It is a before-school activity that takes place every Thursday morning at 7:45, in the art room.

But who runs it? Ms. Donewitz does. Although, the original creator of art club is unknown, Ms.Donewitz says ”It was already a club when I came to this school.”

The extracurricular activity include making “variety art projects, community service projects, and crafts.”

Art club has also intrigued many students, like eighth grader Allyson Brucato and seventh grader Aisling Aulisi.

Brucato says that she likes art club because “it’s fun, and you do a lot of crafts,” and that she is liking art club so far.

Likewise, Aulisi says that she “really likes it; we do a lot of fun projects.” She also enjoys “how peaceful and how calm it is”.

Now sadly there are no spots available, but there’s always next year!
