The year 2000 Al Gore a past Vice President conceded the election to past Governor of Texas named George W. Bush. Gore had a legal problem to recount the votes in Florida. Gore was deeply let down from the lose and because won the popular vote. Gore won the popular by a half a million. He lost Florida narrowly which made him lose the election. The Bush Administration was re-elected again in 2004.
