Ava Kripaitis and Delaney Fallon give key insights on how they manage out of school activities and schoolwork as honors students.

8th graders Ava Kripaitis and Delaney Fallon expressed their out of school responsibilities and how they balance it with their schoolwork as honors student. Ava Kripaitis explained how she plays club softball, and how it runs in her family, with her sister playing softball, as well as her father and grandfather previously playing baseball. Kripaitis also described how she’s been playing for a long time and loves the aspects of playing with her team. “As an honors student, sometimes it can be a little tricky because I have on multiple occasions many extra assignments, but I mainly try to get my work done right after school so they don’t become late,” Kripaitis quoted.

In my other interview with Delaney Fallon, Fallon explained how she volunteers at the Woodbridge History Museum, and likes meeting new people. “Especially because it’s mainly older people that are there, I get to hear first person stories and memories from the past,” Fallon quoted. Fallon also described how as an honors student, she tries to prioritize her schoolwork before other responsibilities so they don’t pile up and become stressful.
