Jhene Aiko is a songwriter,record producer,Rnb singer and rapper. Jhene Aiko was born in Los Angeles California. Jhene is of a mixed race background, her mother is of Japanese and Dominican descent. While her father is of a Native American descent. Jhene has two children the oldest being Namiko Love and her youngest Noah Hasani. She has seven siblings, four of them being full siblings and the other three being half. In the early 2000’s Jhene Aiko was vocalizing for the R&B group B2K and also appearing in their music videos. Unfortunately her debut album was shelved leading to a break in her music career, so she started to focus on her education. Aiko started to write her own music which led her to self release her breakout mixtape sailing souls in 2011, which led to artistic independence.
