Beneath What Goes Unsaid
There’s kids yelling and screaming in the hallways
Judgers say, “They’re just trying to be annoying and funny.”
Those yells and screams may be the only way they can silence their own thoughts
There’s people who act mean and have anger issues
Judgers say, “Can’t they ever just be calm for once?”
That person has been trying to be heard so long that eventually their feelings turned into anger
There’s people who walk around gossiping about others
Judgers say, “Look at them,” and continue laughing
Those small jokes roam around in their head all day and they can’t stop thinking about it
There’s people who sit alone at lunch having no one to talk to
Judgers say, “Look at them, they have no friends!”
That person goes home trying to think of ways to change themselves just so other people can like them
There’s people who don’t wear the trending things or don’t follow the styles
Judgers say, “They dress so weird, look at them!”
That person may have no money to afford anything and their parents are trying their hardest to support them
Just take one second or minute of your day to think about what you say before you say it
Some storms are visible and some storms aren’t
These same people that kids talk about lay around in bed all day thinking of ways to be better when their already perfect
And by the time the sun sets, they already chose a path they shouldn’t have
Everyone has a story left untold, don’t judge someone as if you read the entire book
