With the last few episodes of Invincible being out I’m going to be talking about my thoughts and overall review for episodes 5-7

Before I continue there will be spoilers…

Episode 5 titled” Give Us a Moment” kicks us off right where we left off with Nolan and Allen arriving on earth. At the beginning of this episode Nolan is basically explaining the upcoming Viltrumite war to Mark how he needs his help. Nolan also has a reunion with Debbie where he expresses his feelings and how sorry he was for all the pain he caused her, mark, oliver, and all the people in Chicago. Debbie did not take this very lightly and explained how much she had suffered and how scared she was with what he did. After this Nolan went to Art to have a drink and told him about how he would let him make a new costume/suit for him. Art responded by saying “I dress heroes, Nolan.” 

The reason why this scene is different is because it shows how Nolan is feeling regret for all his past actions and is basically showing him trying to redeem himself in any way he can.

Later in the same episode we see Nolan, Allen, Mark, Oliver, and Zoe headed to telescaria where they eventually were ambushed by Lucan, Kradd, and Conquest who escaped from Earth. At this moment Mark was in complete shock as who couldn’t believe that Conquest was back due to the fact that he had initially defeated him and was shown his “dead” body by Cecil which in reality was just a fake body to keep the real Conquest alive. Oliver then says, “We killed you once we’ll do it again” then went straight at Conquest where he landed a couple punches but eventually got grabbed by the head and Conquest was basically doing what Omni-man did to Red Rush in season one but in this case it was to Oliver.

Nolan eventually comes in to save Oliver and then Mark said, ” I KILLED YOU” in complete disbelief of what he was seeing Conquest then Mark then flew right at him and kept punching and elbowing him and he wasn’t holding back. Conquest saw that Oliver was heading for a nearby planet to breathe some air where conquest then went right after Oliver and this is where things got really crazy. After conquest exhaled Mark started choking him and was not gonna let go. Although Invincible eventually came out on top it left him fatally injured.

Later on in episode 6 titled “You Look Horrible” it mainly focuses around Nolan spending time with Oliver and waiting for Mark To recover after his fight with Conquest. Oliver was very upset with how Nolan didn’t come to see Oliver and how he said that his mom(Andressa) was a mistake and this shows how upset Oliver was and how hard Omni-Man is trying to make up for everything. We later on get to see that Mark had finally woken up after being passed out for months and is heading back into battle.

We later on cut to Telescria where Allen, Zoe, Telia, theadus, and Battle beast were located. Moments later the Viltrumites arrive and are basically just all spread out and were attacking anyone they could. After some fighting we got to see Anissa try to take off tech jacket’s armor and then Mark came in and saved Zoe. He managed to do this with one punch so that just goes to show how much his strength has increased and how crucial he is to this war. They eventually destroyed the Viltrumites ship which caused Thragg to get the VIltrumites to retreat to Viltrum.

In the most recent episode being episode 7 titled “Don’t do anything rash” we got to see many important things such as some background information on Thragg’s past, Emperor Argall’s assasination, and also what I like to call the “Invincible Avengers” which is basically just the main Viltrumite war team being Battle Beast, Allen, Nolan, Invincible, Oliver, Theadus, and Tech Jacket. In this episode we got to see the destruction of Viltrum which plays a huge part for the upcoming seasons, Mark attempting to fight Thragg, and much more. 

This episode had so much action and will make you forget how to blink and I think it’s one of the best episodes of superhero shows we’ve gotten in a while. Invincible has been one of the best tv shows out there and I think season 4 has been really fun to watch and i honestly think that If done correctly It has potential to be one of the best if not the best superhero show of all time.
