AD: What’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you as a school nurse?
NT: I’m going to say there are too many to count.
AD: What’s the most common reason kids come into your office?
NM: Headaches, stomach aches, and ice packs.
AD: When did you start working as a school nurse?
NT: This will be my fourth year.
AD: What was the happiest day of your life?
NT: The weekends.
AD: If you do think people should become school nurses, why do you think they should?
NT: It’s very rewarding, and it’s kind of cool to be able to take care of the kids and actually also be able to, at the same time, see them grow in an educational environment.
