Seventh-graders Montrell Moody and Braylen Sandklev won Warrior of the week at WMS in the previous quarters of the school year for above-average performance.
Moody, being a previous winner of the Warrior of the Week explained what it feels like to win this award,“It felt pretty good, I was kind of surprised.”
When asked what teachers Moody gets along with, he stated, “Mr.Godkin and Mr.Guidetti are teachers I get along with on a personal level.”
Moody was asked to recommend a way for other students to win, Warrior of the Week. He said to pay attention in class and for everybody to be a good student.
When Mr.Guidetti was questioned about how he felt about Moody he said, “He’s a great kid, a great student, he has a positive influence on everyone around him.” He does a good job participating and getting his work done, and he’s an overall good role model.”
Guidetti described Moody as a smart person and says that he has a good personality.
When asked if he thinks Moody could win the Warrior of the week again, Mr. Guidetti stated, “Yeah, I definitely think so.”
Another seventh-grade student who won the Warrior of the Week was Braylen Sandklev. When interviewed about winning the Warrior of the Week, he said ‘It felt good.”
He recommended that other students be “good and respectful.”
Sandklev stated that one teacher he gets along with is Ms.Yeh. Sandklev also recalls winning the award in the first marking period.
When asked about Sandklev, Ms.Yeh said, “He is very friendly and very polite.”
He also stated that when Sandklev said “Hi” to her, she felt very calm. When she was asked if Sandklev could win the Warrior of the Week again, she said that she thinks he could.”
