The WMS PTO will host a Masquerade dance for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. It will be on October 24th at WMS. The dance begins at 6 pm and ends at 8 pm.
Mr. Panko, Woodbridge Middle School’s principal, talked about what the Masquerade is going to look like and what it will have. He said that there will be decorations, a DJ, and snacks that students will be able to purchase.
Mr. Panko said, “We are only doing pre-sold tickets. No tickets will be sold at the door. You also have to make sure you have a ticket on the day of ” This will make sure that everybody knows students will not be allowed if they do not have a pre-sold ticket.
8th-grader, Kamia Jones, talked about what she expects for the dance and said, ”I expect an improvement, from last year and the year before. It was fun but it could have been better.”
Brian Q, an 8th-grade student, said that he wants to hear “older music” at the dance.
8th-grade student, Eliany Pena, also talked about what she would like to hear at the dance. She said “A lot of Bachata, Spanish music, Rap music, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.”
Jones also explained why she wanted to go to the dance. She said, ”Because it’s my last year in middle school and I want to make the most of it and I want to attend all of the dances.”
