I’ve just watched Sony’s new movie Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse and it is one of the best Spider-man movies I have ever seen. The film has funny references and enough seriousness to have you on the edge of your seat.

So we are gonna split up the movie to talk about the main plot points in the new movie Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse. 

The first thing I would like to talk about is the reason everyone is chasing miles. Before I do I need to explain what canon’s events are in the movie. Canon events are events that every single Spiderman needs to go through, some examples are the spider bite which causes them to become Spiderman ( some bites are different but all turn them into Spiderman.).

 Another canon event is losing a family member, close friend, or lover. One of the canon events is a police chief trying to save a kid while getting killed in the process.

 In the movie, it’s stated that Miles’s dad needs to die because he is going to become a police chief in 2 days. 

Miles, angry by this, tried to leave to save his dad because in the movie we learn that canon events can be avoided but too much being avoided is destroying that universe and everyone in it. Miguel O’Hara traps Miles in an energy prison to make sure he doesn’t escape, Hobie AKA Spiderpunk helps Miles escape by telling him to use his venom shock with his palms

After Miles escapes, it is a wild goose chase from there. Every Spiderman is chasing down Mv v i.les and Spiderman 2099 is Furious about this. Gwen and Peter B. Parker try to calm him down but he is mad at all the spider people. 

The next thing I would like to talk about is the villain, The Spot. The Spot at the beginning of the movie is seen as a joke and a weak villain, later throughout the movie he grows his power and becomes a multiverse-level threat.

I love the movie and all the plot they put into the movie, and everything I talked about is barely what you see in the movie. There is so much that any spider-fan will find something to like about this movie.

The movie is said to be two parts, Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse, and Spider-man: Beyond the Spider-verse. This has angered some fans around the world, saying the ending was dumb and unfinished due to it being a two-part movie, but I believe the movie has enough pros to redeem itself from the way people feel.

And the internet feels the same. There are already edits of characters, funny memes, theories, and break-downs on the movie.

Even though the movie has been out only about a week and a few days fans are already hyped and talking about the movie like never before!
