Have you been watching boring and bitter movies? Then I have a solution for you! Here are some of my favorite movies that aren’t boring and will keep you entertained for hours.

WHIPLASH (2014) Whiplash is a movie about a talented jazz drummer named Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller). He is discovered by an instructor named Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons) who is known for his harsh and horrific teaching methods. Andrew’s passion quickly turns into an obsession, which causes him to lose his sanity. This movie is rated R and is recommended for audiences of 17 years and older. The acting in this film is phenomenal and is definitely one of my top 3 movies of all time.

JACKIE (2016) Jackie is a movie about first lady Jackie Kennedy and the week after her husband’s assassination. She has to comfort her two children, pack up the White House, which she restored, and plan her husband’s funeral. She quickly determines that the way the week plays out will define her husband’s legacy, and how she herself will be remembered. The movie is rated R and recommended for audiences of 15 years and older. I can’t express how much I love this movie. It’s such a heart-wrenching and knowledgeable film. I can even dare to say that this movie is a masterpiece.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999) 10 Things I Hate About You is a movie about a smart, beautiful, and abrasive teen named Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles) who dislikes her fellow teens, meaning that she doesn’t attract many boys. Due to house rules, Bianca (Larisa Oleynik), her younger sister, isn’t allowed to date until Kat does. Bianca takes matters into her own hands and pays rebel Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) to charm her sister. The movie is rated PG-13 and recommended for audiences 13 years and older. I love a cheesy teen movie, and this is definitely my favorite.

The Florida Project (2017) The Florida Project is a movie about a 6-year-old girl and her group of friends whose summer break is filled with adventure and childhood wonders, while the adults around them struggle with hard times. The movie is rated R and recommended for audiences 16 years and older. This movie is very sad and can show you how difficult it is to be a child living with irresponsible parents.
