Drake is a Canadian rap musician with a lot of talent and outstanding music. He gained fame as an actor on the acclaimed TV teenage drama series  Degrassi: The Next Generation and went on to have a successful and influential music career.

21 Savage is a young artist who has a lot of meaning in his music. He became known after releasing two mixtapes in 2015, before attaining international attention with the release of the collaborative EP Savage Mode with Metro Boomin. 

Most of the comments on the new album are positive; Drake and 21 Savage rapping styles are constantly changing. A lot of that is so they don’t sound stale, and they also adapt to the artists they collaborate with. Drake is also a songwriter. He has written for many big artists and this gives him more leverage. 

We’re more of a Drake fan, we love his new album with 21 Savage. One of our favorite songs is “Spin Bout U”, we both can relate to Drake’s songs because when we’re going through things,all we have to do is put on our headphones and listen to him to help us get over things we’re going through. If we could choose any other artists to collaborate with Drake we would choose A Boogie With The Hoodie.

8th grader, Johndel Castillo, said, “I like their new album because the lyrics are inspirational and I can relate to some songs.” Johndel also commented that if he could choose anyone for Drake to collaborate with he would pick Lil Tjay.

8th grader, Brayden Hammond, said, “The album was mid,” and he likes Drake’s new music better than his old one. His favorite song on the album is “Rich Flex.”

WMS Teacher, Mr. Murphy, saidwa , “I like Drake, 21 Savage sucks and I don’t like him in general.” One of his favorite songs from Drake is “Take Care.” he also prefers his older music to new music. If he were to choose another artist for Drake to collab with he would pick Kendrick Lamar or Tyler, the Creator. 

Another WMS Teacher, Mrs.Chesne, likes Drake; she said she really enjoys the way he writes and sings in his songs. She would pick Rihanna to collaborate with Drake because she loved the song they made together. Mrs.Chesne said, “The album is pretty good, I like it.”

8th grader, Idris Brooks, also commented that his favorite song from Drake is “Rich Flex”. Idris said that the new album with Drake and 21 Savage was “Igh” meaning it was okay.
