Iyana Taylor is an 8th grade student at WMS. Her favorite music genres are Hip Hop and Indie Pop and some of her favorite artists are Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, and the band Mom Jeans. Taylor plays the piano and guitar and participates in cheer leading and competitive dance. She is a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and her favorite player was D’Andre Swift before he signed a 3-year contract with the Chicago Bears, but another one of her favorite players on the team is Jahan Dotson. She enjoys learning foreign languages and has already picked up French and Polish. She is a fanatic over the musical Hamilton and admires the creator of it, Lin-Manuel Miranda as a creative.
