Charlotte Cardenas is in the eighth grade at Woodbridge Middle School. She enjoys reading fictional novels, writing her own stories, struggling to play her ukulele, and “creating anything at the power of her hands and becoming a god.” In other words, drawing. She has a terrible case of procrastination and completes projects the night before. Cardenas has developed a love for musicals and her current favorites are Hamilton: An American Musical and In The Heights both created by Lin-Manuel Miranda. She has several favorite television shows which are all cartoons and her favorite book series is The Lunar Chronicles. She also has a deep love for turtles and hope to own one one day named Sheldon. In the future she wants to make a change in the world with her writing and artistic abilities.
