Mr.Murphy, a new teacher at Woodbridge Middle School, was interviewed on Wednesday in his homeroom about his first few months at WMS and how he enjoyed the school’s pep rally celebrating the baseball and softball teams’ new season. 

Mr. Murphy said he enjoyed the Pep Rally, “I liked the enthusiasm from both the student body and staff.  Everyone had very positive vibes.”  When asked if his previous school had a pep rally, Mr. Murphy responded, “We did, but ours was in the gym with games played between the Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors”.

Woodbridge Middle School now has a new award, “Teacher of the Month”. When asked if he is striving for the award, Murphy stated, “I always will be.”  Mr. Murphy says that he thinks it is important to constantly improve and learn as a teacher.

It’s been about a month since Murphy has started his teaching career at Woodbridge Middle School and we wanted know how it went, Murphy said, “so far it’s been a fantastic experience.”

Mr. Murphy added that he has had the opportunity to work with some of the “best colleagues [he] ever had in [his] career; [they] were very helpful considering that it was [his] first month.”  We look forward to a great year, Mr. Murphy!
