On December 17th, 1989 the cartoon family known as The Simpsons, debuted as their own solo show on FOX. They started off as shorts on the Tracey Ullman Show, a variety program on FOX. This makes it the thirty year anniversary! They also have a total of thirty-one seasons and six hundred and seventy-two episodes!
