Star Students Show the Warrior Way

Reily Kaschak and Joel Rodriguez have both been nominated star students for helping out others. They are kind towards others and would always help out anywhere and anytime needed.

Reily Kaschak was nominated for helping out at the Thanksgiving dinner. She helped put the forks on the table. “I helped out because I want others to feel comfortable since we are under construction right now,” explained Kaschak. Kaschak feels that being kind is always the best way to go. “Treat others the way you would like to be treated, be kind, be caring, help others out, and always believe in yourself,” commented Kaschak. Kaschak said that she doesn’t get inspired by anyone, but she just likes to be kind, “I just like to help others out no one really inspires me but my girl scout leader she’s really kind.”

Joel Rodriguez is the kind of student that would help out any of his friends. Rodriguez was nominated star student for helping a friend that was getting picked on. “I helped them out because they were my friend and they shouldn’t get picked on,” said Rodriguez. Rodriguez explained that kindness is always nice. “Just be kind and give back,” said Rodriguez. Many get inspired by athletes or famous people, but not Rodriguez. “My teacher from last year, Mrs. Fitz, taught me to be kind”, explained Rodriguez.

Joel Rodriguez was nominated star student by Mrs. Rackett, “I chose Joel Rodriguez as star student because he’s always very polite to his peers in the building, and he always has a smile on his face no matter what,” said Mrs. Rackett. As said before, Rodriguez is very polite and a very kind-hearted person. “Always nice and kind hearted person that would always help a friend,” explained Mrs. Rackett. All teachers expect star students to be polite and always have a warm heart. “I expect them to follow the Warrior Way; I look to see how proud they are to be here, and I look to see if they do the right thing because they want to not because they have to,’’ claimed Rackett.

Rodriguez isn’t the only kind-hearted person. Riley Kaschak was also nominated star student by Mrs. Torrella. “I nominated Riley as star student because I’ve been noticing that not a lot of people have been kind these days,” explained Mrs.Torrella. While Mrs. Rackett looks for those who follow the Warrior Way Mrs.Torrella looks for those who spread kindness and are kind. “I want and expect students to be kind and for them to spread their kindness,” exclaimed Mrs. Torrella.

Ms.McHale is one of the most alert teachers when it comes to bullying, “Think before doing it it’s not worth it, nobody should be picked on for their on uniques” said Ms.McHale. Ms.McHale would be delighted in making a program for those who have been or are getting bullied. “I believe there’s a program the counselor have. I would love to join but it just for counselors,” explained Ms.McHale. Although it would be fun for teachers to be in the program they can’t.
