8th Grade Students Teagan Boehler and Milton Davis earned the well-deserved S.O.T.M award.  Earning Student of the Month means being selected for having Integrity, showing perseverance,and definitely conveying responsibility.

Boelher says, “I don’t study unless it’s for a major grade, I normally do well in general”.  She also likes to stay positive in tough situations commenting that she likes to look, on the bright side of things and don’t let others bring you down”.

It’s a different story for Davis. “My mother keeps me in line with my grades and makes sure they are high,” Milton said. He also likes to stay positive, saying, “when life throws obstacles at you, move forward”.

Boelher said that she doesn’t know what she wants to do when she grows up, but Davis said, “when I grow up my dream job is a video game designer”.

Davis thinks the main reason he was selected for this award was “paying attention and always have someone to look up to”. Boelher says to “never let people bring you down”.
