Ms.Falcone has been awarded as the first sensational 6th grade teacher of the month this September. With her hard work, the award was well-deserved.

Ms.Falcone explained how she felt, “I was excited and I was really flattered because these 6th graders don’t know me very well since the school year had just started, but they voted for me.”

Ms.Falcone started teaching because of her third grade teacher, since that was when she started going to a new school. But her teacher made her feel comfortable so she “felt like she was there the whole time”. Also, when she was only in first grade she actually started giving lessons in her basement to her neighborhood friends.

The 6th grade teacher started the beginning of her teaching career at the Ukrainian Assumption in Perth Amboy. Ms.Falcone has also taught here, at WMS, for 18 years! When our favorite teacher isn’t teaching she likes to “go to the beach or walk by the bay” and says that she also enjoys reading.

Ms.Falcone says that she hopes that all her 6th grade students “stay true and honest to themselves” and give their all!
