Amazon is the most popular online shopping site in the world. People can avoid waiting in long lines, and leaving their house to buy the clothes and items they love. Most people think it’s the best way to live. Due to amazon’s current success, stores like Toys R Us, Sears, Macy’s and many more are closing all around New Jersey. I’m upset about Toy R Us going out of business because that is my whole childhood. My family members prefer Amazon over shopping at local malls, and many agree.

6 out of 10 people said they prefer Amazon rather than the mall. Kayla Ruiz said that she loves the mall, but her parents prefer Amazon because it’s “quick and easy to use.” Ms. McHale, 6th grade science teacher, says that  “it’s avoiding lines” and Ms.Falcone 6th grade language arts teacher agrees.

Katie Joe, in 7th grade, said she’s “too lazy” to get up so Amazon is easy to use. I disagree because I enjoy shopping at the mall, especially because it’s easier getting clothes. Joe Lepisto agrees he prefers the mall to buy clothes, he said that “it’s the new generation so everyone uses Amazon.” I mostly go to the mall, but on rare occasions I will buy a few items from the famous site.

Stores all over the nation are closing because of Amazon. People enjoy skipping the lines and having it delivered to their doorstep the next day. You don’t only buy clothes from amazon, there is anything from kitchen essentials to pet food. You never even have to leave your warm couch.
