Coco warms our heart

Coco is one of the most talked about Disney Pixar movies because of its culture and difference from the past movies. It was released on November 22, 2017 and was directed by Lee Unkrich
Coco is a movie about a young boy who loves music, but his family despises music because of their past. In the movie, Miguel, the protagonist, wants to play the guitar. But in his house, they don’t allow music. Miguel breaks the photo of his great, great-grandma and he finds the photo of his great-great grandma and a man by her side with a guitar. He finds out that Ernesto de la Cruz is his great-great grandfather.
Miguel goes to the cemetery where everyone is at the moment because they are celebrating their family members that have passed away. Miguel goes to the room where De la Cruz’s guitar is and he decides to break in the room and “borrow” the guitar so he can participate in the music contest. Little did he know that when he touched the guitar he would go to the dead world. When he gets there he is surprised because he can see his family members that have passed away.
His aunts and uncles take him to the offices and he meets his great-great grandma. He needs one of his family members blessing so he can go back and his great-great grandma sends him back. About 20 seconds later he comes back. He runs away and finds Hector. Hector is a man who can’t cross the border and can’t go to the real world. Since Miguel is there he wants to meet Ernesto de la Cruz. he asks Hector to take him.
Hector gets thrown in a cave where Miguel also get thrown into after he meets his great-great grandpa. While they are in there Miguel finds out that Hector is his real great-great grandfather. Hector is starting to die because his daughter Coco is forgetting about him.
Hector gives Miguel a photo of him and his family finds him and Ernesto de la Cruz throws him out the balcony and all of the people in his concert find out the truth about him. Miguel leaves and but he has lost the photo. He asks his great grandma and he gets the photo and then the next year Coco dies but he is with her parents.
This movie an amazing and it astonished me when I first saw it. This movie shows a lot of culture in it. For example where they show how they honor the memory of their deceased. When they put the “ofrenda” up and put pictures of their deceased. It also shows a lot of emotion. How Hector left his family because he wanted to pursue his music career. Another time the movie created emotion was when Miguel sang “Remember Me” to his Mama Coco. When I saw this movie for the first time I cried because of all of its events and the history that goes on. How they don’t forget about their family members. In my opinion this movie is amazing, Disney really amazed me.
