Pokemon is a RPG game that made its first release is Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green in Japan by Game Freak and was published by Nintendo on February 27, 1996.

The Nintendo Switch is the newest console that was made by Nintendo and was unveiled to the public in October of 2016, with the official release date of March 3, 2017. There have been several award-winning game for this console, however, no Pokemon RPG. There has been Pokken Tournament DX, but that is a fighting and action game, not the typical RPG type that was the first type of game for the Pokemon series. A game for the Nintendo Switch that is Pokemon would be cool, but I don’t think they should make it for the Switch, because the Switch is expensive. Pokemon players have their 3DS and the Nintendo Switch can’t play those kind of games. It would upset several Pokemon fans. If they were to do it for the Switch and the 3DS, then we wouldn’t be mad at all.

When Pokemon Switch is coming:

Pokemon Switch has been wanted by fans ever since the Nintendo Switch has come out. “GameFreak has begun developing a core RPG Pokemon title on Nintendo Switch,” says Ishihara. “It may not release for more than a year, but we’ll hope you look forward to it all the same” (GamesRadar+ article on Pokemon Switch, by Sam Loveridge). GemeFreak should take their time on this game. If they don’t make something really  good out of this, or the fans of the Nintendo Switch and Pokemon could become angry.

What the plot of the game may be:

The game could be about anything, but there are ideas. Back to GamesRadar+ article; they say it may be a spinoff game of one of out current games, Sun and Moon. They explained in their article, “According to a report from Eurogamer, the Pokemon game is Pokemon stars, a spin-off game of Sun and Moon, similar to what Pokemon Yellow was to Pokemon Red and Blue.” In Eurogamer’s by Tom Phillips article, they said, “A new version for Sun and Moon will launch for the Nintendo Switch.” I feel that GameFreak probably won’t make a new version of Sun and Moon for the Nintendo Switch, instead i feel like it would be a whole new game about time traveling, and bring back the time traveling Pokemon, Celebi, to help us time travel, and Dialga, the Pokemon god of time, will be the Pokemon who we need to defeat to save the world. That’s just what I feel would be a nice plot for a new Pokemon game.
