December 11th, 2017- The Lady Warriors won against Avenel Middle School 60-24. This brings their record up to 3-0! The team was lead by Abigail Rodriguez with fifteen points and Sidney De Voogd with twelve points.

Sidney De Voogd is a 7th grader and it is her first year on the team. She says that she thinks the team struggled yesterday with rotating on defense. “We keep forgetting to drop back, so we need to work on that,” De Voogd adds. Sidney says that the team’s biggest strength yesterday was “getting rebounds” and “passing the ball up the court.” De Voogd adds that she thought the game was very good. She says, “There are still things to work on, but it was probably the team’s best game yet.” Lastly, Sidney says that being 3-0 feels great.
The Lady Warriors next game is Wednesday, December 13th, at Woodbridge Middle School against Fords Middle. Come support WMS’ number one basketball team!
