Prey Review

Shayna Mangal, Fall Editor

Prey is a first-person sci-fi action game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

You play as Morgan Yu, exploring the space station Talos I, where research into a hostile alien organism called the Typhon is being conducted. But when the Typhon escapes confinement, everything goes wrong. You can follow many ways of playing; everything you do affects the ending.

This game has an open world setting, meaning you can do what you want whenever you want. There are different side missions you can complete to help the other people that are still alive, or you can follow one main mission.

You can obtain special abilities through the “neuromod” that allows you to instantaneously learn skills. The skills help with progressing in the gameplay.

At the end of the game, there is a crazy plot twist, and an option the ends the game. In my opinion, this is a really cool sci-fi game that deals with awesome physics and an insane storyline.
