EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS OF THE MONTH: Harry Hoiser and Noemi Grande pose for their picture with honor.

Michael Kidwell, Fall Author

November’s students of the month are Harry Hosier and Noemi Grande who escalated their grades way up for this award.

Harry Hosier is one of the November eighth grade students of the month. Hosier explained that he had such bad grades that he “might fail”, but thanks to his mother pushing him so much, he got straight A’s. Hosier said, “I am honored to get this student of the month award, however, I think that my mother deserves it more than I do. She helped me.”

The other student of the month for eight grade is Noemi Grande. Grande said, “I was having trouble at first, but when I went to somebody to talk, I was breezing right through eighth grade.” Grande also explained that her mom was “extremely ecstatic” when she saw her award for student of the month.

Hosier said, “student of the month is a great little side accomplishment that makes you feel honored and proud once you get it.” Grande said, “student of the month is great and all until you really want it, but you don’t get it. But that feeling once you finally do get it, it is amazing.”

For everyone who may feel discouraged, don’t feel like that. These students are evidence that, eventually,, hard work pays off.
